One week in Maldives

Maldives has always been a part of my bucket list and I’m sooooo happy that I can finally tick it off! I flew from Manila to Singapore and had a 2 hour layover there before flying to Male via Singapore Airlines. From Male, I took another plane to Koodoo.  From there, I had to take another 7 minute boat ride to our resort- The Residences. It was tiring but absolutely worth it.

I woke up extra early on my first day because I was so excited and wanted to soak in every minute of my stay in my dream beach destination. I had an amazing view of the ocean right outside my room and the best part was that I could jump in the water anytime I wanted to. The waters are crystal clear and shallow so you can instantly see corals, turtles, fishes, and even baby sharks! The resort offers various activities and my absolute favorite was the sunset cruise + dolphin watching. I didn’t get to take photos of that because I was so mesmerized by the abundance of dolphins around me! We even got to see a few whale sharks. That was pretty awesome! I spent a week in the Maldives which gave me a lot of free time to laze around and recharge. This trip is definitely one of the highlights of my year!!! Hope you'll enjoy this photodiary. :)
