Where to go and What to do in Siargao

My trip to Siargao is a very memorable one. I wasn't planning on going to the island this year but I was really fed up with everything that was happening in Manila. I was having some issues with my business, some relationships were strained, and I knew that I needed a real break. I booked for a one week trip to Siargao with zero expectations in mind. I just wanted to relax and get away from it all. It rained heavily for the first four days so my friends and I didn't do anything except eat and sleep. It was so nice not to think about work and I didn't even bother to touch my camera! When the sun finally came out, we explored the beautiful island and tried to do as much as we can. We went hotel hopping, island hopping, and ate our hearts out. Lol Siargao is so beautiful and I fell in love with the island's peaceful and relaxing vibe. It was exactly what I needed and I went home with a happy heart and a refreshed mind. In case you're wondering, everything eventually worked out in the end. :)

I put together a list of things to do and places to go in the island. I hope you guys will like it. Have a great week ahead!

It's going to take 45 minutes to get here but the rock formations are beautiful. It's best to go early because the the place gets super packed.

There are a lot of nice hotels in Siargao. You can walk in just to eat, chill and take photos.

We stayed here for the first four days. My friends and I loved it because it's quiet and it never gets crowded.

Siargao is the surfing capital of the Philippines. The waters and waves are amazing!

I don't have a lot of food photos but trust me when I say that the food in Siargao is amazing! Other restaurant recommendations are Kalinaw, Kermit, Barrel, Bravo and Mama's Grill.

The dogs in Siargao are so friendly!

This is said to be the best surfing spot in the Philippines. It's also nice to go here for sunrise and sunset.
